This Privacy Policy explains how More Than Consultant (“MTC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website at morethanconsultant.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us via WhatsApp Business or related messaging products. This policy is intended to support regulatory expectations including Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022), the EU GDPR where applicable, Google Analytics requirements, and transparency expectations for WhatsApp Business Platform use.

1. Who we are

2. Scope

This policy covers the Site and WhatsApp-based interactions with our business. It does not govern third-party websites or apps that we link to (for example WhatsApp’s own app and policies).

3. Personal data we collect on the Site

Automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, screen resolution, referring URL, pages viewed, approximate region (country/city level), and similar diagnostic data. When you accept analytics cookies, this may be processed through Google Analytics 4.

Voluntarily: Information you include when you email us or otherwise choose to share it outside of WhatsApp.

We do not collect payment card data on this Site.

4. WhatsApp Business Platform & customer messaging

This section is especially relevant if you message our WhatsApp Business number or we use WhatsApp Business Platform capabilities (including the WhatsApp Cloud API or related Meta messaging infrastructure).

What we use. We operate a WhatsApp Business presence to respond to inquiries and communicate with clients and prospects.

Categories of personal data. Your WhatsApp phone number; your WhatsApp profile name; message content you voluntarily send (text, images, documents, voice notes, and other attachments); timestamps; delivery/read receipts where available; and technical metadata needed to operate the channel.

Purposes. Customer support, consultation requests, commercial inquiries, project discussions, scheduling, and related legitimate business communication.

Legal bases (where applicable). Performance of a contract or steps before entering a contract; our legitimate interests in operating our business and responding to people who contact us; consent where required by applicable law.

Meta / WhatsApp. Messaging infrastructure is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and affiliates. Meta processes data under its own terms. Please review: WhatsApp Privacy Policy, WhatsApp Business Terms, and Meta Privacy Policy.

No sale. We do not sell personal data obtained through WhatsApp.

Retention. We retain messaging correspondence as needed to serve you and for reasonable business records, typically up to two (2) years unless a longer period is required by law or an active engagement. You may delete chats on your device in WhatsApp at any time.

Your choices. You may stop messaging us, block our business number, or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@morethanconsultant.com.

5. Cookies & similar technologies

  • Essential (always on): theme, language, and cookie preference stored in localStorage.
  • Analytics (if you accept): Google Analytics 4 may set _ga / _ga_* cookies (up to 2 years).

6. Third-party services

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — traffic measurement.
  • Google Fonts — fonts may be loaded from Google; Google may process limited technical data.
  • WhatsApp / Meta — message delivery and related processing as described above.

7. Sharing & international transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with processors (e.g. Google, Meta) strictly to provide their services. Google/Meta may process data globally; appropriate safeguards may include contractual clauses offered by those providers.

8. Security

We use HTTPS and reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission is completely secure.

9. Your rights

10. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
